U Do It Reviews – Salcod Leaf Bag is Perfect for the Fall Cleanup
It’s that time of year to rake the leaves. In this U Do It Reviews video, we are using the Salcod Foldable Leaf Bag. The manufacturer sent this to U Do It™️ for review and their timing couldn’t be better.
Unpacking the Salcod Leaf Bag
The product was twisted and folded into a nice pancake and stored within a pouch. Once I unzipped the pouch it sprung open, so exercise care. Don’t open it in your fine collectables room. I don’t think I’ll get it folded up like the way it was when it shipped.
The product measures 22.5 inches square by 38 inches long. Its features include:
– Spikes to secure it into the ground
– Door with a zipper to close it up
– Handles to carry it
– Lightweight
– 83 gallon capacity (according to my calculations – the product packaging indicates 100 gallons)

Raking Leaves
I have my Craftsman LT2000 Lawn Tractor that I’ve been slowly restoring for the last three years. I’m very proud of the restoration progress that I’ve made. Last year, I purchased a used Ohio Steel Tow-Behind Dump Cart for $150 dollars off Facebook Marketplace and it has worked well for me.
I was able to use the cart to transport 3 leaf bags full of leaves at a time. Then, I emptied it out twice into the cart and then placed the loaded bag on top of the leaves in the cart along with my rake. Within a couple of minutes I was back ready to load it up again after dropping them off at the street.
My Thoughts
The product incorrectly lists the volume as 100 gallons. In my opinion, this is a deceptive practice to mislabel a product for something that it is not. I would not be happy if I purchased this only to find out that it was not 100 gallons. Anyone can calculate the volume of the bag based on one gallon, which is 231 cubic inches. So 100 gallons would be 23,100 cubic inches.
Aside from the obvious error in volume, this product worked well for me. I will definitely try to fold it up like a professional. But, I’m also the one who is scared at opening Pillsbury Biscuit containers.
The Salcod Leaf Bag does not get the U Do It Approved stamp of approval due to the incorrectly listed volume.
